Hey, this really struck a chord with me. The way you describe facing the parts of ourselves we usually keep hidden—it’s powerful. That moment of meeting your shadow doesn’t weaken you—it awakens you. It’s like walking into your own dark to bring something real back with you.
I love how you framed it—not as a one-time reveal, but as a deeper relationship we keep building with ourselves. It takes guts to lean into that, and I appreciate the invitation you’re offering everyone here to do the same.
Thanks for sharing this. I’m curious—what’s one small way you’ve noticed that shadow-sides showing up in day-to-day life?
First of all, thank you, I appreciate your thoughtful support. Hmm, I feel there are many ways I could interpret the question. I'll say that when we create and suppress our shadows, they often show up in moments of emotional turmoil, feelings of despair, lack of knowing self, and heightened emotional reactions. When we spend time with our shadows, welcome them and accept them as important parts of us, we hold hands with them. This shows up in moments like Alone, Swaying. Recognizing our worth, being more comfortable alone, joy shining through the cracks. Letting ourselves cry when we need to, and bringing our inner child out to play.
I am in love with your art and your song choice 💞
